My Grandpa, Viktor, has been telling me about this place for months. When I came to visit from Pittsburgh it exceeded all my expectations. Perhaps best duck I’ve ever had. Intimate environment. Top notch.

Super cute and small, quiet little place. The foods really good and well thought out with flavors. Would highly recommend.

We had one of the best Italian food we ever had. Everything what we ate was really amazing, full of textures and flavors. Our server was very knowledgeable and polite. Right away we ordered a dry martini with olives staffed with blue cheese.

Been wanting to try this place for a long time but it’s always very crowded. The server was helpful with the menu, so I got the tagliatelle and it was off the chain. We went specifically to try their dessert, however, and it was lacking. We tried the toasted walnut crème fraiche cake with blueberry compote and gelato. To me, these components dont work well together unless you’re specifically craving blueberry, ice cream, and toast. The “cake” really is just a piece of toast with a few blueberries and ice cream on top. Not only was the presentation poor, but the dessert itself is disappointing. I thought the cake would taste extraordinary and it did not. I hope the next time I try I’ll like another dessert better.

This place is exceptional. Wow. We moved to Evanston after 15+ years in city, much of it in Logan Square, and the transition from those restaurants to Evanston restaurants has been... rough.
Our first meal at Campagnola was unforgettable. They do everything so well, we can't stop talking about it. Very highly recommended!

We did the takeout family meal and it was a great price, offered large proportions, and was super delicious! Had a good chicken and veggie option for the gluten free people in our group.
Also the restaurant staff was great. Quick checkout process with a welcoming vibe and one of the gentlemen helped me carry the bags to the car. Would recommend!

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants - and totally worth a drive into Evanston! We returned for dinner again this past week and really falling in love with this charming restaurant. Service has been fantastic, menu is creative while still offering classics. This time we went for a special occasion and brought one of our daughters - she loved it as much as we do.
We have had the beef carpaccio, Diver Scallops and the Grilled octopus as appetizers - all delicious! The Beef carpaccio is a personal favorite and theirs is excellent.
This time we ordered their skirt steak - and they were accomodating & kind enough to let us request a change so we had it with mashed potatoes instead of the roasted potatoes. We’ve tried the duck and lamb chops. I’m not sure you can go wrong with any option on the menu! Everything has been delicious and fresh.
It would be a great place for a dinner date or group of friends or family dinner. It has a really cozy but upscale feel to it - not huge, so worth making reservations. We’ve not had any trouble finding street metered parking close by.
This needs to be on your “must go” list!

I have heard great things about Campagnola for some time and finally got a chance to have dinner with some friends recently and had a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was perfect. The drinks were delicious. The food was not only beautiful but delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The bolognese was a delight. And the tiramisu I was told is new to the menu and was spectacular and if someone wanted my opinion for some silly reason I would say that’s the best desert you could get in Evanston. But don’t listen to me go taste it for yourself! Ha!

I went here for dinner with my wife and mother and it was great. The atmosphere was very intimate and the food was top notch.
I had the tenderloin steak with roasted potatoes and spinach, and it was incredible. The steak melted in my mouth, the potatoes were roasted to perfection, and I'm not usually one for spinach but I cleaned my plate. My wife and mother also had zero complaints about the salmon and chicken.
They also mixed up a very nice drink for me! I don't know what exactly went into it, but I just asked for something that didn't taste very alcohol-y but would still make me tipsy and they most certainly delivered!
The location is also great, right next to the Purple Line and UP-N.

An intimate bistro with good cocktails and food will never go out of style even when it is located in not so dense area of suburban area. Great date night spot for older couples.
